We all have ideas for awesome things we’d love to see happen. They might be life-affirming, community-forming, joy-providing, mischief-making or flat-out crazy-genius — and with a little help, you could make them a reality.
The Kitchener-Waterloo chapter of The Awesome Foundation gives out $1,500 every other month to help make your awesome project happen.
Anyone can apply with any project, proposal, purpose or plan ypu think can help improve the lives of people in our community — and if you can convince the KW Awesome Trustees at one of our public Pitch Nights, you’ll walk away with the cash (e-transfer) right there and then. No strings attached.
Past grant recipients include community organizations, environmental advocates, cyclist clubs, dance parties, community groups, women’s groups, youth groups, theatre productions, arts collectives and so many more!
